Subject revision cards to promote student learning and engagement
Funded: £800 by CoASSH
To develop a series of customised Euro-style games for subject revision in LIBS. These games can be used as lecture, seminar and recruitment activities. The outcome of this project is the production of high quality reusable teaching resources for use in subjects across the Business School which are fun ways to enhance student learning. Resources will be developed in collaboration with students and teaching staff who will be supported to pilot and evaluate the impact on their modules.

Learning the principles of responsible management (PRME) through customised card games.
This project proposes the customisation of existing euro-style card based games to create sustainable and reusable pedagogical tools. The project will produce ‘educational packs’ including copies of the base game for group use in seminars, professionally printed customised card decks, and teaching support resources (how to play the game, structuring teachign sessions and discussion questions). The outcome of the project is to incorporate PRME values into our academic teaching activities creating an effective approach for learning about responsible leadership. The project embraces the impactful five (i5) principles, creating fund and engaging ways for students to learn about the curriculum, whilst also enabling them to evaluate their existing knowledge and gaps within the subject.
